Holy Mackarel!!!! Talk about nice, put it on level 1 (60hp), eased onto the road, going about 15-20, gave it about 3/4 throttle. Chirped the tires shifting from first to second! Talk about put a grin on your face. I didn't expect that. Had to do it several more times just to make sure it wasn't a fluke(he he). Very smooth acceleleration, until you "Get on it" then watch out!! Level 2 (90hp) is pretty cool too, but Ididn't notice as much of a diference from 1-2 as 0-1, which figures. Have not tried level 3 yet, have an AEM Dry Flow CAI on the way. Will try to hold out until it gets here.

 

You cant hold out that long I know. I tried to Waite till I put gages in didn't happen. The other day I launched in 4 we'll drive ageist a mustang and got it off the line till about 99mph and thin he got me,but Dag it was fun as OLD as I am.

You will LOVE level 3. Won't hurt anything to row thru the gears without a gauge. Its not like you're going to leave it
wot for a long time. I am satisfied with my quad race, I also love the Commander. Just waitin on the fuel pressure guage to start working. I have confidence in Quad, that is one of reasons I bought it - customer service.

 

You guys that are rowing gears with the Quad box - how high can you keep your boost while shifting?

 

Well, if you wait long enough to shift then it holds the RPMs and boost up between shifts....

 

If any of you Quad users run into a jam running a tuned up CB with your Quad, let me know, I have one that is modded to handle a well grounded 40W radio. It won't handle any kind of kicker though
