Well, I decided to go with an AFE Stage II Intake kit. I was going to go with the Volant but no one in Edmonton,AB had one in stock. So I got the last AFE Stage II from Dix Performance here. IT looks great, and I got the kit with the Pro Guard 7 filter. It is sweet. Very easy install and quality parts. You can really hear the turbo now! Sounds exactly like a Big Rig when I am going through the gears!

Great Job! I love the way the AFE sounds! Sounds like a jet engine at take off and a big rig going down the highway. I can almost guess what my boost gauge is reading just by listening to the singing turbo.

 

i love my AFE stage II, yall are right about the turbo whistle....i drove in front of my truck one day with my buddy driving it just so i could listen to my truck...the back end is all exhaust noise which is good, and from the front its all turbo which sounds great! i took my silencer ring out too and won't ever look back

 

I love the way mine sounds too! Every time I drive down the street my buddies tell me it sounds like a B-52 plane landing.
