Just installed my boost fooler today. I have it hooked up with my outlook monitor. The boost fooler is plugged right into the MAP sensor, then the outlook, then the truck harness. It all works fine. The outlook monitor measures a maximum of 18psi. I guess that is what the boost fooler sends as a max psi to the ECM to fool it. I also tried just running the boost fooler and not hooking the MAP connection of the outlook up at all to see if it would read boost through the ALDL. WRONG The outlook does read boost through the MAP and not the ALDL.

Next thing to buy is a mechanical gauge to see how much boost I am actually making. I tell you what it sure does pull like crazy now. Boost Fooler really does work!!!!

 

with the new pmt is it the same way? i take it the bullydog system doesnt have a buitl in boost fooler ive heard of some chips to have them

 

wyocat, the PMT does not boostfool but you can put one on you just lose your reading just get a QuadZilla boost fooler your set

 

than add another boost gauge?

 

Hey ramble-bee, I put the boost fooler and the truck ran like crap. It took forever to spool up, although once it did it would pull and pull. I took it off it was running so weird. Heard anything from Bud?
