I am considering buying a used Jacobs E Brake for my truck. It is off of an auto truck. I see there is a diference in part numbers between the auto and 6 speed trucks. What is the actual difference? Are they interchangable or do I have to have one specificaly for the 6 speed? I am hopeing that the only diference is that the autos have to have something extra to controle the Torque Converter lockup that I can just leave off and have a perfectly functioning E brake. Thanks.

I just looked at the jacobs site and it shows the same part number for auto and manual for the 06. Prior to that they didn't have a part number for the automatics did they?

 

should work they have the same part number and mine had instructions for both with it

 

Thanks. I got to RElooking and I see that there is only one part number. I have no idea where I thought I saw 2 different part numbers.
