It's getting closer

Well my truck has been at the body shop for over two months now and is finally getting close to finished. I hit a tree the day before thanksgiving and have been fighting with the insurance company and dodge ever since. The insurance guy drug his feet deciding whether or not to total it. They finally decided to fix it but when ordering parts we had a lot of trouble getting a door. The first 2 that were sent were dented and scratched but the third was perfect. Hopefully I'll have it back next week.

How big of tree was it? I took out a telephone pole, and then went through an orchard last year. If I wouldn't have cliped a tree branch the damage wouldn't have been that bad considering I took out the pole. I was lucky I hit right at the frame and not dead center. You got any pics of the wreck?

wasn't a very big tree but I hit on the side. It did have to go to the frame shop but they said it was a really easy fix so hopefully it will still drive straight.

yeah he was fine, not even a burn from the bags. Luckily the 2 other vehicles were parked and unoccupied. one was a rental that was smashed on the rear quarter panel and a van that he pushed 2 houses over. ill post a picture of the truck, give me a sec.

Yeah that is bad news. That happened to a guy I worked with in a company vehical. Termite 06 a tree doesn't really have to be that big to do a lot of damage, they don't give like those poles do. It does look like you have some pretty good damage. I'll try to post mine if i can figure it out.

wow. You gotta hand it to those fords though. They sure can take a hit. If he was driving a chevy I think he'd be in the hospital.

Wow, that is the nicest looking Superduty I have ever seen!

Seriously, though, I'm glad your buddy is ok.

+1 One of my best friends had a Chevy 2500 ext cab. While on his way to work some one in the opposite lane fell asleep at the wheel and swerved into his lane causing a head on collision at 60+ mph. He crawled out of the window literally without a scratch. I guess it all depends on the situation though.
