ISSPRO Gauge install help needed
I located the Ignition Switch Power and tapped into that for the EGT Amp, but I can’t get good access to the Headlight Switch wires (for gauge illumination) going at it from under the dash. Tried to remove the left dash panel where the door meets, but it doesn’t appear to be a ‘pop out’ panel. Same thing with the headlight switch itself - doesn’t appear to be ‘pop outable’.
What is the best way to gain access to these wires? Model year is 2007.
Alternatively, if I decide to go to the fusebox in the engine compartment, is fuse 35 “ICC Illumination” the dimmer switch fuse?

Just a word of advise. I don't know how many gauges you are putting on the light circuit but I would wire in a relay so you don't overload the lighting circuit. I try to use relays on every thing this way if something goes wrong with what you added it dose not effect you factory lighting circuit.

My Pyro and Tranny Temp control boxes are tied into the cig lighter +pos line with a 2a fuse, no Relay and have never blown the fuse. The lighting for my three gauges are all tied together on the same dimmer wire with no fuse. My setup has been this way for 5+ yrs and 100,000+ miles. I have never had a single hiccup and the original bulbs are still installed.

Finally finished installing the ISSPRO triple gauge set (Fuel, EGT, and Boost). The install went well. There were a few glitches, but all in all it went ok. Some steps were more involved than I thought they would be, others were easier than I anticipated. It did take about 20 hours to complete (time includes runs to home depot, local hardware, and auto parts stores).
Although the instructions that came with the set from DieselManor were good, I would not have been able to complete the project without all the information available on this site. Thanks to all who have taken the time to post about their personal install issues and solutions.
