I was wondering what would be the best route to take to rid my new cab & chassis (when it gets here) of that horrible wood grain stuff on the dash & doors, I tried ordering it with the SLT style silver trim, but they said they couldn't do it, imagine that????? anyway should I try & get the dealer to order the SLT trim & put it in, or is there anyone making an aftermarket carbon fiber, or aluminum kit for the new dash?????? thanks alot, Dusty

 

There are guys that have painted them with success. I understand how you feel, mind has it as well and at first just like the 06 frotn end I didn't like it but now I do. it may grow on you once it is your truck.
