intake

ok people i thank i have messed up we allnow we like to hear our turbos wisle it is the coolest but in the bottom of the intake elbo right befor it gets to the turbo the luver, i have been readin up on the that it was not the best idea to take them out because of turblance i thank i spelled it right but if i put it back in will that take way my wisle or is it efectin my perfgormance with it being out?

People on here are going to have different opinions about leaving it in or taking it out. Me personally, I would put it back in and take out your silencer ring at the turbo if you want to here the turbo whistle.

I think hes talking about the white plastic airflow piece thats in the intake tube. The one that directs airflow into the turbo.


I took mine out about a year ago. I didn't see any difference in anything

John just put an S&B intake on it and be done with it....you ready for the Diesel nationals man??

I don't see how it could hurt. When you get an aftermarket intake, the tube is straight to the turbo and doesn't have any baffles so its the same different

ok well i was tryin to refur to the elbo with the fins not the bafles i was readin in a diesel tec. mag. and it said it would have been best to leve the finse in the bafles are removed in there little readin. but thanks

It comes with MS Word for free. Heck DTR even has one built in.
