Installing Mass air trannsmission line and sending port
Installing Mass air trannsmission line and sending port
Ok, I might not be the brightest penny in the jar but I am confused. I ordered the transmission line and the test port from Mass air. ( 47re)I was going to install it today and I can't for the life of me figure out how to orintate it using the pieces that I received. I wonder if I am missing a piece( the bag was ripped upon delivery).
I received 3 pieces. A line with the rubber hose and a 90 degree elbow and a fitting for the sender. If I use the elbow, there is no way that I can see how it would line up and be put in place of the current line. Does anybody have any pics of how yours is routed and what it looks like? Thanks.
P.S I will put pics on what I received in the readers gallery if I can.

Thanks a ton for the pics.. The transmission line I was sent has more of a 90 degree bend at the top than the one you show. Because of this, when I attach the elbow to it, just as shown in your pic, the fitting now points downward and parallel to the transmission line again. It seems I may have been sent the wrong part. The part I was sent exactly matches the transmission line that is currently installed. Took some better pics,, in the gallery.
