Installing Intercooler
I recived my servixce manuals today and I was reading the part where it says how to remove the intercooler. It says you have to discharge the ac system and remove the condenser. Is there anyway around this? I plan to replace it with a banks intercooler.

I just removed the screws which attached the condenser to the intercooler and rotated it coutner-clockwise out of the way (just don't rotate it too far-about 1 o'clock position)I did not discharge the AC or anything when I installed the Banks intercooler. Hope this helps.

the instructions that came with the banks intercooler looked great with mine. You will actually remove the radiator core support on the top of the rad. to install the banks cooler. Mine was done by the dealership since the dc ones are non-existant. You will love the banks setup but I notice a little burp from the turbo from time to time since the intercooler will not baloon and take up the extra pressure. The high-ram makes a serious statement under the hood!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It sticks out like a sore thumb on a woman.
