Installing Evil Dual CP3

Anyone who installed them?

My question is how to feed the both pumps. The gear driven pump is the Dmx pump (II Stage 3)
Ill be using an AirDog FP150 that has an 1/2 inch line.
Should I "Y" or "T" the supply line to both pumps? in that case i would need an extra fitting like the one that is included in the Air Dog Kit.

In the Evil kit are included two fittings like that but they are only 3/8.

Im still a little blind on how to set up everything, considering i dint get any instructions yet, and the radiator water tube is missing.

If anyone could give me a write up on how to connect the Supply and return line would be great?
Also from where to where does the High Pressure Fuel line go?

I put a Y right after the Airdog and ran 2 lines up for the feeds. On the returns, i T'd them into one line.

High Pressure line depends on which pump you have on top. There is a fitting supplied in the kit that relocates the RPS to the top pump, and a fittting that is installed in the location of the RPS on the rail. I run the D Max pump on top so my High Pressure runs from the D Max pump to the fitting that replaced the RPS on the rail. The return from the top pump runs to a an/bolt that is installed in the top of the Pressure Relief Valve....you should have 2 push lock fittings for the return.

I just T'd the fuel feed to both pumps....there are no fittings in the kit for this because there are too many different options people use.

Shoot Lloyd an Email, and he will send you the instructions.

I installed the AFE BladeRunner horn (Got rid of the CFM+) and had to relocate the RPS to the bottom pump....I use the Quad rail gauge so there is enough slack in the harness to do so.

Let us know what you think after the install!!!

Piece of advice. I just installed them. Dont use the rail pressure relocation adapter. Take the rail pressure relief valve out completely and screw the sensor back in its place. The line below the relief valve goes to your return. Get a four way setup to connect the return lines from the back of your head, and the two cp3's(return lines are the ones on housing side of the cp3) and then back to tank. Use a y to connect the supply from Airdog to the cp3's(front port on the cp3). If you need more of the fittings Glacier diesel sells them and Vulcan diesel to. THey are the 12mm 1.5thread to 6an. You will need to bend the pressure line from the back port on the cp3 to the rail.

Thx for the replys!
coope3: that what lloyd told me also, about the RP sensor. It will barely fit there, with the banks high ram, if it will fit at all. sure hope it does!

Does the DMX pump use the same fitting as the dodge cp3 pump, for feed and return? (12mm 1.5thread to 6an)
DMX pump currently comes with a nipple style fitting on inlet and outlet.

If you have the Cummins Cp3 on the bottom.... looking at the plug to the FCA, it would be the bottom wire (plugged in of course). Does that make since?

Hey 12,

My truck did not like the fuel pressure above 25 psi at idle...it would throw the code. It likes 15-18 psi. My RP is 7000 at idle in gear. When you get the hard tube...make sure you have about 3/8" clearance from the belt to the bend in the silicone 45° bend. To do this you need to trim (maybe a 1/4") the top part of the hose that mounts to the neck on the head....this in turn actually makes the 45° a mounted 50°...hince a little more clearance from the belt.

Back from some testing...

RP doesnt go below 20k i see anywhere from 22 to 23k at WOT with smarty on SW 9, RP 4

Truck pulls noticeably harder! it knocked .8 seconds of the 1/4 mile (12.0)

With the above settings i see 10k at idle! but at Wot i thought i would see 25k or so!
