When installing the Quad Commander are there any parts that you have to drill in order to install the sending unit for? or does everything already have the proper fittings and connections and you just tap into them?

 

You need to drill and tape the exhaust manifold for the EGT prob.

 

i was rading somewhere that you dont have to mount it there, that you can mount it behind the turbo and your temps will be slightly lower due to the turbo disapating some of the heat. is there already a spot that the fitting would mount to after or would you still have to tap it?

 

Not that I know of. It's not that big of a deal to drill and tap the manifold. It's a little scary if you've never done it before, but it really isn't that big of a deal.
