A fuel pressure gauge is mandatory with the FASS.

I have a B1-04 in mine, it spools real close to stock and cools fairly well. But another option is the SP 66, it is bigger yet and cools better but is slightly laggy.

POURIN DIESELA fuel pressure gauge is mandatory with the FASS.

why, just thinking about putting one on, but if you changed the filters out every 30 000 miles is there any need for the guages

I would consider a fuel pressure gauge more essential than an exhaust backpressure gauge.

A fuel pressure gauge is a must-have item on a diesel, up there with EGT's and trans temp if you own an auto transmission. If your fuel pressure drops, you can fix a problem before it really becomes a larger one. Fuel pump, lift pump, etc.

FASS systems can have problems sometimes and having a gauge to tell you the fass is working is a must.

i would definitely run a gauge cause in the instructions with the fass pump they give you an optional part number for an led bulb that lights up when your fuel pressure gos below 7 psi. and for the same reasons above as bad, fulaty, wearing parts.

Is there a port or easy hook up on the FASS for a fuel pressure gauge?

there is a plug on the housing. the only thing is that if mount the pump in the back by the gas tank. your wires for your gauge if running an electrical gauge, will not be long enough to reach the fass pump. what i did was tee'd off the fuel line running to the injection pump for the time being.

Are you going to use a mechanical or electrical gauge. I used a mechanical. Used a banjo bolt adapter and tied in right at the cp3 pump. From there to the isolator. Isolator to gauge.

I got the chrome replacement fuel filter cap from www.genosgarage.com that has the port right on top. That's where my FP reading comes from...

Is this on the outlet side going to the CP3 or is the pressure reading coming from the FASS before the filter?
