Installed the AirDog150!

Well i finally got around to gettin it installed and have a question for u fellas that have been runnin it for a while. Its cold here so when i hit the key and wait for the pre heat light to go off i can hear the pump runnin and its pritty loud but when the truck is runnin u can hardly here it, is this normal?

Hey Bswope,
Did your truck have a little bracket welded on the frame in the AirDog's mounting location that looks like it was a filter mount of some sort from earlier models? My did and it was a pain in the #%* to remove....

Thanks 53 thats what i thought but wanted to make sure! I wired it like u did, wired the red trigger(your was black) wire to the orange wire with red tracer so its just like factory. Man are those push-loc fittings a PITA to get the lines pushed on i even used some oil and still had a heck of a time with em!

Yep it dose, but my truck is a long bed so i had plenty of room to mount the pump! I can see that bein a PITA on a short bed!

Whack the end of the hose a couple times with something and it will go on much easier.
