how big of an injector can i go with out upgrading the cp3. i am already going to put a fuel pump (150). i am going to take out my programmer and just going to run injectors. in time ill prolly upgrade nd put a programmer on top of injectors but for now just injectors.

 

Why no electronics? Your truck will probably run quite a bit slower then what your at if you take the tuning of. I would say with tuning 50HP injectors (and you can even drain the rail with that).

 

To get any benefit from aftermarket injectors you'll need a up graded cp3,turbo and programing. The stock cp3 will not keep up with stock injectors with much added duration. With a modded cp3,aftermarket turbo and programing you can make 550 hp with stock injectors. I believe a up graded cp3 should be one of the first mods. Low rail pressure makes smoke and runs the egts up.

I am running DDP 90's, a 62mm turbo and a SMARTY and running 575hp+ with a stock Cp3. 90's are the MAX for a stocker though!
