I drive an 2007 Mega Cab Dually with a 5.9 CTD. I have already had one injector replace under warranty. A few months after installing my Banks Six Gun the engine started to run rough, smoke, smell and get very poor mileage. All symptoms where the same as the last time an injector went. I have currently removed my Banks six gun and the engine now seems to be running fine. Any suggestions on what might be causing my issues?

 

I would have to guess the banks 6 gun LOL. Im not a huge fan. Ditch it and have a drb scantool test the injectors by doing a cylinder and injector cutout test, if they check out good then you know it was the 6 gun making the problem if they check out bad then you either have fuel contamination to blame or the 6 gun. Either way i would say ditch that thing.
