industrial injection super 62/14

the new turbo just arrived yesterday. I will have to wait till saturday to install. A quick look tells me that the pacbrake bracket will need to be clearance for the compressor outlet pipe to fit.

Anyone running a setup close to mine with any power numbers?

any install tips that will save me knuckle skin and learning new curse words?

I don't have any info for you but that is the same turbo I have my mind set on. I too am a little concerned for the PACbrake cylinder bracket clearance. I look forward to your update on that as well as the install and the function. Thanks.

You will need to strave off 1/4" of the Pac Bracket,Also with the additional weight of the Pac some stud"s have broken off,No problem though We drill the studs out in put Automotive Bolts in,I like the Bolts,You can switch out Turbo"s twice as fast.

cant make it to nwb, gotta put on the turbo and do some yardwork. yes just across the sound.
figured out the drain tube already, thanks for the heads up. i will take some pics as I do it. hoping to set it at 50 psi. then i should be ok without studs.

the old will just sit in a box i suppose. nothing wrong with it, just pushed beyond its efficiency and i dont feel like taking my chances on it grenading at 44psi.

I dont mean to steal this thread but I am about to do a turbo swap myself (and it will likely be the exact same one) and I was wondering if there was any way to get the turbo bolts off the manifold besides an open end.

I tried to get my turbo off to drill for my pyro and all I could do was spread the end of the wrench open and I quit before I rounded the bolts.

Is there a better way?
Am I doin somethin wrong?

Let us know how you like the turbo, I am very interested as I am sure many others are.

soak the fasteners with kroil while still warm a few days before you try to take them off. mine are 2 years old and show no signs of rust. however, i will find out saturday morning.

i love this thing. the money was very well spent. my tt weighs about 10k, egts never went over 1200*, no matter how long of a hill i was pulling. with the quad on 60, i can tow anywhere. with the race box maxed out, the clutch slips as soon as boost builds past 20. you should hear this thing at 50psi. if you tow and have a downloader or chip and have egt trouble, get a II SPS 62/14. you will not be sorry.
