Oh, on a side note, when you botch a 1/8" npt hole with the wrong sized bit because the right sized one is broken and noo other is available, one can substitute a 2nd gen intake horn in a pinch. The gasket leaks a bit, but not too much. Just ask MCummings, I stole the intake horn from his 24v to make it to the mudraces.

And I can't stand when people refer to nitrous, ANY nitrous, as "NOS". NOS is Nitrous Oxide Systems... a manufacturer and distributor of nitrous-oxide systems (hence, their name). You don't spray "NOS", "N.O.S.", or "Naaawwwzzzz"... you spray N2O. It doesn't matter a bit who's logo is on the bottle.

Ever refer to a tissue as a Kleenex? How about a carbonated soda as a "Coke"? Admit it-- Texans do the Coke thing all the time! How is this any different?

NOS is the biggest nitrous company by far. BG's nitrousworks, ZEX, Edelbrock, Nitrous Express, etc are all players but not nearly as big as NOS.

Any time your brand name becomes synonymous with the product youy make, you have a branding dream come true. (Coke, Kleenex, NOS, etc).

As for truck abuse, I thought the most criminal abuse was just letting Merrick near it

Haha, Merrick abuses his truck, but he can swap out an injection pump in one hour and 28 minutes. I'm talking, he gets tools ready, truck's hood is closed. Timer starts, hood opens. 1 hour and 28 minutes later, the truck is running, and he's already spun the tires in the parking lot

I do abuse my trucks. I guess that's why I own 4 vehicles, and 3 aren't working, and 1 is limping along. LOL.

I'm about as bad as you John.

For some reason the ISB intake horm either doesn't carry as mush air as an ISB-e, or, my Intake had a leak. LOL

Merrick

P.S. I'm real proud of the VP44 swap.

haha, on the way out to the mudraces on saturday, merrick's car died in a very busy intersection between 2 highways, right in the left turn lane. I had to jump him 3 times, each time I'd jump him, i'd put the cables away, car would run 15 seconds, then die. I ended up pushing him accross the street, breaking his brakelight in the process
