anyone tried this combo in a twin set ?

 

I love mine set up .I been towing 10,000 lbs weekly and thay have been good for 11.85 et at 113mph with my little so vp pump Id say on a CR truck thay would even work better good luck

by the looks of your sig u have the htt 62/65/13ss ?

thats a much different turbo then the II Silver 62/74/14cm

did you change your top turbo recently & switch from the htt to II Silver ?

with all the guy's now running twins on this forum Im very surprised that no one has any experience with a silver series in a twin set ?

I bet when that silver starts to build boost , truck gets moving quick !

How does it spool on the street & what rpm do guys start to spool up & build boost ?

What do the egt temps look like , just cruising , towing & at WOT ?

 

I went from the silver 62 to my htt62 ss13 I think it was a day and night diff, the ss13 spool up was way better plus the wastgateing inside has two times the flow that the II 62 had . Why would you wont a big slow EX wheel (74) ? in a twin set you'll have all the air you need for 850 hp with the s480 and low drive pressure with the big internal Htt ss13 wastgate . IF you dont use a ss13 you should get a bigger EX wheel ie the 74 in a cast iron back housing so you drive pressure will stay low . One more thing the heat retention in the ss13 will light the s480 better (sooner) than a cast housing will . Worked on my truck and a buddys truck also . Good luck with your setup
