Really?? I love my mirrors. I've got a Leer top on the back and with the deep tint on it and the back window I can barely see out of the back. I use the mirrors all the time and can see everything I need to. Are you using them folded up or down?

I have read (on here, somewhere) that some people have taken the mirrors (just the glass portion) and swapped sides...that relocates the little mirror to the bottom. Never did read about anyone doing with an 07 thoough.

That's why I leave them folded out. I hate the little mirror on top. But with the m out I love them. Way better than any other mirrors ive had to use.

I use them folded in. I'm also 6'5" I'm almost touching the roof. I had to put a 2" block in the rear with the leer top because I could only see about 50ft behind me the angle of everythings off... The pitch to the rear was downward now its up so that helps and a night vision camera helps with rear views. I love turning it on at night while driving its very cool..
I;m just used to my f250 mirrors I see so much more.. I like that style. I guess I'd better start working on an upgrade...

I believe it to be ostentasious to have mirrors folded out if not needed.

That said I have come close on the passenger side a couple times now.

I may try 'em folded out just to see what I can see.

If you can see better i'd say that means they need to be folded out.

I understand what you mean though. They do stick out a little far but i guess im used to it now. I don't tow all the time but hook up fairly frequently for short distances and don't like folding them in and out and getting them readjusted all the time so I just leave them out. Sometimes in the winter I fold them in for periods of time because I don't tow as much.

I agree. I had the "little" mirrors on my truck stock, but talked the dealer into providing tow mirrors at purchase. I loved driving with the small ones. (no convex) and they even worked well while towing the boat. I can't see at all with the towing mirrors unless they are flipped up. I've resorted to using the convex most of the time.
Is this true that the mirrors can be flipped side to side?

I cant see anything with the mirrors down, so mine have been up since day one, and I have little to no blindspot. I catch crap from people saying it looks bad, but if thats how I can see, then thats how theyll be. Plus, I kinda like the looks of them folded out (must be the redneck in me or somethin...)

Nobody likes the small mirrors, so you can get some brand new ones off of ebay cheap, I paid 70 something, shipped. Much more user friendly than the tow haul mirrors. And they just look better.

Compared to the junk on my old Duramax, these mirrors are a godsend.
