You can get a Silver series with a 12cm housing and a 74mm wheel if you want it. I don't know why they wouldn't be able to install a 71 wheel in a 12 housing on an SPS. I spoke with Brady Williams about this very thing a couple days ago.

back a year and a few months ago i bought the prosteet 66 when it and the silverbullet came out and they were both within 100 bucks of each other then the only reason i didn't go with II is the bearing thing and there customer service has been great, i had for 8 months or so and it started blowing oil i checked end play and it was way excisive, i sent it in to them they checked bearing for poor lubrication and said everything was in specs it must have been a faulty thrust bearing. with in a week they sent me a brand new one and all i did was pay the 80 bucks or so to send mine to them to have it looked at. i will deffinitally use them again

I had Issues with my old 64/13 making boost due to a bad actuater. I ended up solving the problem my self. Once it was making big boost it rocked. The only reason I went to the bullet is I got it dirt cheap and needed more cooling then what the 64 could provide. I got the bullet for 1700 and that is what dealers get them for. The silver bullet does have better street manners than the 66/16 IMO. My next turbo in a twin set-up will be a HTT Stainless Exaust housing turbo.

Correct me if im wrong but, i thought the bearing or center section is what was the same on both turbos. Thier built off the S300 chassis from BW, if thier differances in the 2 i thought it was in the comp. and turbine setup? Im thinking more of going with HTT due to thier ss housing, i understand it is thier own casting and not a reg. production piece as all the others are like the 12,14,and 16 wastegated units. HTT told me thier 13ss flows just as well as the 14 but spools better, has anyone else experensed this??? Thanks

i had a ii sps 62 them i bought a htt sp 66. comparing my turbos i think the ii turbo was higher quality. before i went to twins i was going to upgrade my sp66 from a 66/14/65 to a 66/14/71, ii was cheaper to make it a silver bullet than htt could make it a regular 66/14/71.

I have the 64/71/13ss,... not standalone but in my twins setup and it spools great. I highly recommend it. It was Nathan's suggestion and he was dead on with that recommendation.

Nothing but great luck and customer service with II. Originally had SPS62, great turbo, a month later I upgraded to the Silver Bullett for only the diff in cost and a few $$ to clean up the slightly used one. Just remember the more loyal you are to a supplier, the more loyal they will be to you...II all day, and by the way, for a lower cost!!!

Ya also wondering what your other turbo is in your twin set-up? Do you guys think thier would be much diff. really between the 66/71/13ss and the 66/74/14 forget brands names just pump size. For racing only 1/8 mile wich do you think would perform better, remember 1/8 only this year- got to get the think off the line dont want any more lag than ness.

I believe it's a 80mm S-400 or at least that's what I would have in that set -up
