HTS vs. DTT

I am getting ready to order a valve body, servo, accumulater and such. I can't do the whole thing right now so is there any advantages or not for either or just who prefers which company. Also is their one or the other that has had any problems in the past. Thanks for the help in advance.

HTS.

Over 25,000 HARD miles on my truck without a single problem...

Plus your not very far from Michigan. You might check with HTS but I'm pretty sure there is a new dealer in Illinois. You might check that out.

I ran a DTT valvebody only on an other wise stock 47re and it held 400+ (I was knocking on 500hp with it when it finally wore out) abusive horses for over a year. It was originally designed for 350hp. I highly recommend DTT.

Was that in reference to a valve body or torque converter?

I bought a valve body from HTS installing it tommorrow. As far as customer service call Dusty he will ask what you you are using it for and try to help with you decsion on what to buy. He recomended I start with just valve body and to see how that went instead of also ordering the TC at the same time. So I will let you know how the VB installation goes andd if it makes a difference.

I think that you will do good with any of the big ones, HTS, DTT, Goerend, or NADP. All winners, just remember, that after 350 hp you need to really have more than a vb and tq. It will last if you dont bag it at all, but as soon as you abuse it they wont take it.

Both should get the job done. Never ran a DTT but I've got 30,000 on my HTS with no problem. Dusty's been great to work with, except he's always got some funky 80's retro music playing in the shop
