I was also thinking of going to the "hot" juice and I have the same question. I think it is probably a symilar program to the Crazy Larry BD. What mods are guys running with CL? I believe the hot juice is around 180 HP and CL is 230 hp, anyone running either?

It is still smooth power. Not sure the stock turbo will like it though. I put one on an 05 along with a DTT tranny and a TAD B1-02-4 turbo, and it was just plain fun to drive on 5 all the time.

hot juice is 180, CL is 200 I do belive. they both will require tranny/clutch help to be safe. I don't know what either of them is like egt wise but I have a feeling they will both run the egt's up noth most likely if you are stock. there are people running them on hear though someone will chime in.

I have only had the hot box for 4 days but have used level 5 one time to test it out. The egts only got up to 1150ish and the boost was up to around 38lbs. I just cruise around town on level 1 and when I want to mess around I use level 4. I will hold off on level 5 until I have more mods and level 4 isnt enough for me any more. level 4 is 100hp and level 5 is 180 so that is a pretty big jump. As far as smoke, it really isnt that bad compared to the stock smoke. If you are stock though I dont think(from hearsay) that you get the whole 180 hp out of it. The injectors arent enough to keep up with the demand and the lift pump isnt either or something to that effect. I am all stock except an air filter and not the hot box. on level 4 I broke under 15 second 1/4 mile yesterday according to the attitude box.

How does the HJ make the additional power? More duration? More pressure? Or both? I hope not all of it is done in pressure...

on the 04.5 and up it is supposed to just be timing and duration. on the 03-04 the normal juice uses some pressure so i don't know if it adds extra presure or not.

From our last conversation....
Did you really pay the $300 to have it installed?

I'm glad.
I hate to see people pay so much for installation, when it so easy to do it yourself.

regardless his origional price was $200 less than any other local shops were willing to do. he came down a couple more hundred though and came to my house and installed it in my driveway and showed me how it all worked.

you will probably need turbo, clutch, and an aux. fuel system. the stock fuel system starts to miss out around 100 to 120hp.

haisley machine did mine, 425 + install= somewhere around 700. dont quote me, but they had never put their system on a common rail so they had to install it. other than that i would have installed it.
