How to overide the ecm overboost code????

I installed a new High Tech turbo over the weekend and the turbo came with a plug that has a resistor in it that is suppose to take care of the overboost code that i am getting at 40lbs of boost. Does anyone know how to overide this?
My truck is a 2006 mega cab with CTD.

I contacted ht today and they are sending me another resistor for the turbo plug. This will not cure the problem of the overboost code. The code is being sent by the MAP sensor. I spoke to bully dog and they have been able to trick the engine by stacking the torque dog for the 03-04 on the 06 trucks. Will let you know what happens

Put a Quad boost fooler on your truck and it is pretty cheap mod.

I was told that the Quad boost fooler has a 50/50 chance that it will work.

having the same problem with my aurora 3000. ATS sent me a boost fooler that takes care of it on most trucks - but of course not mine. Apparently from truck to truck is inconsistant on what voltage amount sets the code. The 06s are more sensative. The guy I talked to today after I instaleed their fooler said that he has been running a new fooler they have been testing on his 06 for several weeks at 50psi with no codes. He is going to send me one and if it works for me they are going to start selling them.

Well I installed the new resistor plug that High Tech send me today had no luck with the overboost code. The new resistor plug actually short circuited and started melting. I replaced it with the original one that High tech had sent me and then i installed a torque dog from bully dog for an 03-04 truck and that was the end of the overboost code blues. My truck is a 2006 4x4 mega cab. I had my turbo boosting 48 psi today after the install of the torque dog. One thing i did notice is that the torque dog has a 3 position switch. When i had it at the 90hp setting the truck did some weird stuff like when i let go of the accelerator the truck stayed like stuck on high rpm's. The sweet spot is right in the middle. Will post if something happens.
