guys I was wondering what kinda smoke you get with your puck on the 90hp settings? my truck just doesnt seem to smoke much at all, under any condition. I can get just a small and I mean small puff from a dead stop when I get on it from a stop light. but thats about it.

what are your experiences?

 

Mine used to smoke pretty good running the Predator/Puc, maybe you need more fuel I see you have no lift pump added. I now run the Triple Dog/Puc stack.. and after running a fuel additive it seems I have a lot less smoke but theres still some there. I know before I installed my Carter there was no fuel pressure when running a programmer and chip.

 

thats kinda what I was thinking, not having the upgraded pump might be the reason. But I was wanting to get some others opinions on how there trucks were acting using the same stuff.

how much would pump cost?

 

I think they start at around $300 on up, I would probably not go with Carter again, don't get me wrong its working fine but I think theres better ones out there...

 

i know that I am not going to be adding that much more power to the truck so i dont have to get a really hopped up pump. although I would like to do a pump and set of injectors eventually

 

I don't think that the Puck by itself is going to smoke much if any at all.

If you added the Predator it will but, that is a whole different conversation.

 

yea i kinda knew that already....I wish it would throw smoke though. oh well, looks like I need some other upgrades hahaha

 

I dont get any smoke with the puck that I know of but I dont have a stock turbo

 

sell your puck and get a diablo sport predator. leave it on the 60 horse setting and it will smoke pretty good or at least mine does.
