Nope..... Nitrous dynamically increases cylinder pressure and you will be running on borrowed time.

Yes I'm going to bottom tap this time. Does the thicker gaskets part number end in 45? The thin one is 44.

Also can you reuse exhaust man. gaskets?

Thanks Justin.

Yeah 45 on the thicker one. Yes, you can definitely re-use the exhaust manifold gaskets.

Well, I can be sure to tell you the stack I'm runnung is nowhere near as extreme on the timming side as the TST/BDPP some are running. I've never had the bad timming knock others have had with certain stacked boxes. Especially on the 305/555 motors where pressure is added to help the HP #'s. And once I get the 200hp tune for my Diablo I won't even run the BDPP any more and run the Juice turned down somewhat. This should be safer I think

the headgasket should be the first thing to go. LOL. Then you can fix it "properly"

Head Gasket failure is a function of cylinder pressure, temperature, stud stretch, and deck/head flatness. For some reason the area where the head gasket is likely to fail....cylinder 5 and 6 is the area where the head and deck were less than flat on mine...not bad but definitely a contributor. I crinkled a studded head gasket at over 90psi at 1700 degrees. This was at WOT with water/meth 100%, TST on 18 degrees Auto and Smarty 3. Totally Tupid. But it made me tear down the top half of the engine and fix all the other things that cost alot more than the headgasket that would have ruined the engine. My advice is to power your truck according to what you have done to make it operate within specs. Stock studs and headgasket should not be run over 50psi and 1450 degrees or it will eventually blow when you need your truck most. Studs will give you 70psi and 1550 degrees for awhile. Just my opinion. ks. Proud member of the head gasket in hand club

So do you think a 100hp pill could be safe as is??? Or would I be risking damage you think?

There is no "100 HP pill" for a diesel..... The jet size HP rating on our trucks is totally dependant on available air and fuel. What make 100 HP on one truck might make 300 on another. To do nitrous right you really need to get on a dyno and tune it.

But back to your question. Without studs and o-ring/firings you will blow a headgasket. Maybe not the first or second time you use it but it will happen.

The amount of NOS is going to depend on the amount of fuel you have. The more fuel you have the more NOS you can run. Dont bring it in too early because you can put the fire out. But basically start with a conservative jet size, then move up until you hear the engine start to Pop. then back it down a jet size. Pretty simple with the diesel. You dont have to worry about going to lean like you do with a gas motor. Just remember NOS is basically turbo in a bottle.

So what 3 sized jets should I get for say 50-75-100hp. I was told it's all I need. I can allways drill out the hole if needed, if it's too little.
