How much fluid to change valve body/DD pan

How much fluid to change valve body/DD pan

I'm getting ready to do my HTS valve body. How many quart's of trani fluid will I need with the Mag-Hytec pan. Any other tip's before I start. Thank's

Use the drain plug feature that the MHtec has before you pull the pan.

Is that for the whole system including torque converter, or just to change out the valve body.

I would go out and get some large measuring cups or use 1 gallon oil jugs to gauge the amount of fluid you get out that way you know exactly what to put back in.
You wont have to worry about being over filled or under filled.

the dealership did the 1-2-1-2-1-2 shift problem on mine along with a filter and i watched him add the fluid. I have the stock pan and it took 6 quarts to top it off (to give you a rough idea)
