Nice!
Nothing wrong with being comfortable while you work, my truck doesnt fit in my(or any) garage either...

Heck, you could have pulled it right up to the deck too and just taken down one of the railings for a bit...

Nothing wrong with that. I think the modified deck idea would be better!

The only thing I would have done a little different was to take the front tires off and put in on jack stands at the lowest height, that way the motor would be tilted towards you!

The grill is on the porch covered up, man I shoulda gotten a steak for myself. I can't believe you noticed the music. I got some old desktop computer speakers that I hook my IPOD too. It has now become a MUST everytime we work on our trucks. And the beer was ICE COLD when I got done.

I use saw horses and a 3'x6' carpeted platform to gfet into mine...lol.

Also had to weld an extension to my cherry picker hoist to get over the radiator...lol.

I need to work on better cooler placement for my set up though...

Put an addition on your deck and make it in the shape of a boat slip. This way you just nose your truck into it and wrench away... When not working on the engine, you could back in, put a tarp in the bed, fill it up with water and have a hot tub party...
