How to get 04' Cummins to smoke more??

I have an 04' Cummins with 4" dual exhaust and a Bully Dog "Triple Dog" and I do not seem to blow much smoke. I was thinking that I would get more smoke out of it since it is turned up. Any Ideas on how to get more Smoke?

Welcome to the site.

Do you have the Crazy Larry loaded on your triple dog?

I do not at this point. I was told by Bully Dog that it was not available for my truck at this point. I do not have the 600 motor. I have the earlier 04' HO

Take a razor knife and cut the intercooler piping boots.

Dude... smoke is SEXY. If I could find it in a cigerette I would smoke 3 packs a day. I agree there is a time and place for it but every now and then... Like when a Ford gets behind you then all the sudden you can't see him anymore...

Exactly. You always need the option to smoke.

I have been having problems with my Bully Dog and at about 20 psi of Boost, after gettin into the throttle, I get a bad miss. Not sure exactly what it is at this point. I can hear it out the exhaust. Sounds as if the wastegate is blowing off too soon. After doing this, it continues to climb in boost, but it just has that hickup. Thinking this may be causing some issues.

What setting do you run, and a "miss" is a fuel problem. It sounds like it is starving for fuel. I have had the same experience with BD. When was the last time you changed the fuel filter?

hey ryan, how about filling in the sig so we can get all of the particulars. sometimes a minor mod that is listed in the sig, but not in the body of the paragraph will give the info needed to make a guess. is it an 04,555 or 04.5 600? makes a difference.

My truck is a early 04' not 04.5'. I was thiking fuel problem also, but I just changed the fuel filter recently and still same issue. Bully Dog suggested that I try this new upgrade to the triple dog and I am awaiting to get that sent to me so I can try it after the update they made to it. They mentioned that when my truck received the annoying backup alarm recall, that they might have flashed the computer with a newer update... ???
