Well, it looks like they went up 50 cents, but still a great deal. Their instructions say that they can control up to 30 psi with the included spring. I went to the hardware store and bought a 4mm nut to use as a spacer/shim to put more load on the little internal spring. Per the controller instructions you can stretch the spring a little but I figured 80 cents for a bag of nuts to use as a spacer was easier than stretching.
These little controllers were designed for gassers so 30 psi is a lot to them. Anyway, when you're at the hardware store, get a few 1/4"-5/8" hose clamps and you will be set. This is set up to adjust easily with your fingers because the gasser turbo guys are always changing their boost levels around because one day they run high octane fuel that can support 20 psi boost, and the next day they run pump gas and go back to 10 psi. Us diesel guys set it and forget it!
You may not need a shim, but I am planning on running mine to 45 psi or so, and I figured that the supplied spring would not be up to the task.

wheres link for that valve again? i may as well buy 1 till my turbo goes.
also do you think my exhasut is sufficient? I have the factory 4" with CAT and STOCK MUFFLEr gone but i put a aero4040xl where cat was. some say i need 6 ". Im sure my exhaust setup is good for 550hp for sure

3rd gen turbo
Ah64 is wrong about the ecm, when the ecm wants to limit boost, it de energizes the solenoid so that it no longer vents boost pressure. Once 26 psi pressure hits the wastegate head, it pushes out the rod. The rod leads to a lever connected to wastegate puck, flapper, gate, whatever you want to call it.
Here are some pics of my HX 35 so you can better understand the mechanical portion of the wastegate:

Rasing the peak boost wont help mpgs, as your have to be pretty heavy into the fuel to get peak boost... It may add a couple hp, and cool a little better, but only to a point, then your just blowing hot air... I think the 03-04 turbo is good for about 30psi and the 04.5-07 for 40.
