Question Houston Tx Shops

I get to have guages installed in the truck for fathers day. Does anyone know of a good shop in Houston where I can get them and have them installed? I get nervous about taking the truck to shops for work, so i would like to get yalls advise as to which ones are reputable. Also if anyone knows where I can get the Donaldson muffler installed let me know. Thanks

I would highly recommend Chris at Relentless Diesel. He is in Willis, TX. Look up www.relentlessdiesel.com for the phone number.

I second Michael and Curtis in Texas City. http://www.hotroddiesels.com/HRDsite/

They did mine last year, the pictures of gauge install on 04.5 are of my gauge install.

Houston Performance Diesel and Bay area performance always seem to do good work as well.

I'm in Pearland too. I'm about to have Chris a Relentless Diesel do some work on my transmission "DTT". Check my gauges out in my gallery; Bob over at Houston Performance Diesel did them, and their good guys. I started putting the gauges in my self, but stopped after a broke a couple of things and let them finish it. I did my Kore suspension stuff no problem, but the gauges are a little more delicate. I think, don't quote me on this but one of the guys from Hot Rod down in Texas City lives in Pearland. Drives a black dually with a big sticker on the back and 19.5 wheels. I was driving the other day on Pearland Parkway and he decided to put on a little smoke show. I was in the right lane so the smoke was right in my face. I think it's cool to smoke another brand, but not a fellow Cummins owner. I'll give him the same respect next time I see him.

Not unless either Curtis or Michael has bought a new truck recently. I've known both of these individuals for years and can vouch for their integrity, commitment to customer satisfaction and the quality of their work.

I did say don't quote me, and by no means am I questioning anyone’s character. Just that the next time I see my buddy I’ll repay the favor. It's all in good fun.

Gauges are easy, do them yourself.
You can get the whole kit here cheaply:

I agree though for transmission work, go to Relentless Diesel.

Lots of people here from Houston?

Thanks for the input. I ended up having the guages installed at Relentless Diesel in Willis. A bit of a ride from Pearland, but it was worth it. Chris did a great job on them, and beat the local shop by 50%. I highly recomend that anyone wanting work done on their trucks give him a call.
