Well after being disappointed with the overall feel of my first dodge auto, Ats has me smilin ear to ear. I had the ATS triple lock tc and vb along with a deep pan installed today and WOW! It feels so much more positive. Why they dont leave the factory like this is beyond me. Shifts are firm, the tc seems like it slips alot less, and i will bet that with daily driving the fuel milage increases. Just gingerly leaving a stop light the truck comes up to speed with alot less throttle. Nice, very nice. This one gets the bigmans thumbs up! Hats off to ATS and Ken at Performance diesel in Ogden UT.

 

Oh one other detail. I told Ken that i had the 5mph shudder and that my dealer just stood there drooling and looking cross eyed when i asked about it. He whipped up a 1/2 inch steel spacer to go ontop of the carrier bearing and presto.....fixed. He didnt even charge me for the fix. Dang, isnt life great?

The whole package was right at 2500$. If you leave off the deep pan it comes to about 2200$. I would have paid more knowing in advance what this combo would do for the truck. Amazing.

 

ouch. are you racing the truck or going to pull very heavy loads with lots of hp?, just wondering cause the tripple locks are rated for hp # that we rarely see out here.

 

Got to drive one before you access their worth.

 

No racing or sled pulling here. Just couldnt stand the stocker. Did someone say vague? The feel of this new setup is worth twice the price. Yes its that good.
