I drilled all the way through with a 1/2 inch bit for the sensor. It's the two mounting screws he's talking about. I didn't drill for the screws, I used drywall screws cut to about 1" long so they didn't go all the way through.

As far as warranty goes, I would just re'install the stock intake before going to the dealer. It might take 30 mins. or so.

What are you guys attaching the pipe, elbow and filter assembly to besides the turbo. Doesn't it need some braceing or support?

Mines not mounted to anything yet, it does not really put any stress on the tube from what I can tell.

I have not done anything with my mount because I am still working on a box of some sort. I don't want to close it off to much because I don't want to lose any of that sweet whistle.
So instead of a full box I think I will do a heat shield and a cold air hose.

As far as warranty goes it all depends on your dealer some care some don't... I just take mine off because I don't want to hear them (dealer) complain about how they had to work around it or take it off to get to the oil filter, it takes maybe 10 min's to reinstall the stock air box.
and gives the dealer nothing to complain about.

Yeah, can not say if I picked up some power (probaly not, but maybe a TAD) but the whistle alone was worth mod, and then when you pop the hood, and see that BHAF, hahahahahahahahaahaaha..........Makes me feel like a RICER Well, at least I put a hurtin' on a ricer and Gasser Chevy 2500, and the poor stock Cummins (or at least I HOPE it was stock ) did not have a chance
