HOLY EGT's madhat!
Look at this... this morning...

I did not have the TC locked, but I had the W/M with 50/50 windshield washer fluid in it... Guess I've already outgrown that turbo...
Sorry that I did not get the boost guage in all the way, it did not go over 43-45 psi... I have it wastegated from HTT at 40lbs... I've seen it hit 52 or so before...
NOS is cheaper than twins...

I dunno... It has always ran hot because of the edge... I thought that the new turbo would handle it, but I guess not...
I'm wondering if I should go up to a 66? Dang turbo ain't got 500 miles on it...

^^^ thats what i was gonna say, the Edge is known to be superhot, the more mods you put to the tune the more potential it can put out, looks like the Hot unlock is a pretty strong tune. The POD will let you make the same power but tune it in to keep your egts in check. That's what will be so cool about it. That 64 ought to be able to handle it better!
yeah Mark, that's pretty hot pretty quick ! I'd agree about the Edge, they're known for running hot.
You'll have a lot more adjustability using the Smarty. Some settings and/or tunes I can easily bury my gauge like that but, others it won't go over 1200F.
I'm wondering.... do you still have the crank sensor thing done and doesn't that advance timing ? Also, are you still using the MP-8 ? You may not need it's help with the Edge either. It does however benefit with the Smarty

Ditch the washer fluid and run straight water. I bet between the edge and the meth and the injectors you are over timing that motor. Talk on the street is that big injectors are already set to add timing. The meth ignites before the diesel and not sure what the edge does....but try straight water with a conditioner in it for lube. Bet you drop a bit. As well you might look at ditching the snow and going with the http://store.dieseltruckresource.com/dihiflsmin.html It has 2 pumps, 4 nozzles and the ability to control your nitrous.....

Ok, I might try that. (water only) I don't think that the snow is big enough. I might call them tomorrow and ask if they can make it flow more. I don't want to spend a lot more money on something that I already have. I wish that Lary would have had that when I put the snow on my truck...
I have used actual 50/50 water meth mix, and it actually started 'quenching' my truck when I was not WOT... I think that I'm going to try that, too. I just don't have anywhere to test the truck out, and I don't want to get it trouble on a back road out it town.
I am going to try to run it on lower settings and see what she does, I'm thinking that I want to stay around 1250 max. I see gas in my future... sorry Ty!!!
