High idle in park and neutral

High idle in park and neutral
These last few days I have noticed a high idle in park or neutral only. And also my engine temp has been fluctuating and reading hotter than usual.
Any ideas on what may be my problem, thermostat? water pump? fan clutch?.......

My coolant was low
All is good now......

If your tranny is not modded, only idle in N as the fluid does not circulate to the TC in P.
