hi perf muffler that is a bolt on?

looking around I found all sorts of aftermarket KITS but all i want is a muffler that has the right hangers on it. I know nelson and MBRP have good, non-droning mufflers from what I'm told ,but all i keep finding is complete kits. give me something to hunt down ,a link or website, thanx , crossy

Genos has some as well I bought a walker 4" flow through from Gernos. I'm very happy with it. Check with Larry at the DTR store I'm sure he can hook you up with a good deal.

Just my opinion, but replace the muffler with a straight pipe and keep the cat(unless you tow all the time). I was worrried it was going to be too loud and have an annoying drone - but I don't have either. Much cheaper than a muffler and it sounds really good.

Magnaflow makes a muffler and the bent pipe all in one piece. All you have to do is unclamp yours and install theirs.

The muffler your looking for is MBRP MK 96116.
This is for the muffler and the adaptor pipe.

went over to Del and stopped in the flea market area (i don't normally stop), saw something shiney(my downfall), 20" case ,Banks monster muffler, Ford powerstroke removal. very lightly used, $50. certainly was not a bolt on, but after slicing and dicing on a , 45* bend i bought at the peterbuilt dealer for $22, I got things to match up pretty well. tailpipe tip sits further back. kinda under the corner of thebumper now. before mounting I cut off the Ford brackets and 2 of the three they were re-welded to the 15* 'S' bend pipe I made up to go into the factory rubber donuts. mmmm donuts- doh

oh yeah you probably want to know how it sounds. it sounds very mellow. i notice no drone, but have not towed yet. Amazing what just a muffler did for quicker spool up on the turbo on the bottom end performance. I keep my edge on #3 all the time so i'll see if MPG benefits.
thanx for all the attempted help. If i don't like this I'll buy the longer MBRP that larry gave me a good price on. crossy
