hi perf clutch for a 600
Dual Disc should hold up for a good bit with just street driving.
Although, I would recommend that you only go with a 3200lb or 3600lb for the street if your not going to SLEDPULL.
If you even remotely think your going to pull, get a 3600lb unit.
South Bend Clutch makes great clutches for pulling or dragging.
The CON FE from South Bend as a single should hold up into the 500hp area. The Dual Discs are safely run into the 600hp-700hp area.

Speed the money
If you plan of getting serious power later, spend the mony and get the dual disk, the noise sucks, but after installing and removing 4 clutch in 20,000 miles I love that noise, knowing the clutch is still their,I have tried to break my Southbend and it's can't be done, with 600 horsepower, and it's driving manners are great and you can take off in 2nd or 3rd gear all day!!!

The floater plate between the two clutch disks rattles when you have the clutch disinguaged.. And since the clutch disk dont have the springs in the center of them for dampening it makes the trans rattle alot inside when the clutch is ingauged.... The noise is just the price you pay for a clutch that will hold the power and that you can slip like crazy.
My Haisley Machine Street Drag makes my quiet 3rd gen sound like a 2nd gen 24V at idle with the pedal out, but is quiet as can be with the pedal pushed in. Also, raising the idle even 100 rpms gets rid of the idle gear clatter as well. Pedal effort is somewhat increased, but it is not brutal. Holding power and driveability are both
I would buy it again without a doubt.

Depends on the brand and which clutch you have.
Haisley wants you to pull the competition puller once a year for inspection.
Thats good advice!!
Even with a SBC DD it wouldnt be a bad Idea to see what is going on inside.
On the other hand once you have about 30+ hooks in a years time there is no hurt in just sending the unit in and having the clutch disks re-pucked and the flywheel re-pucked.
