Help with picking a 37/12.5/17 that will balance

I am looking into buying a set of 37/12.50/17 for my 05 2500 CTD shortbed crew cab. We are going to be installing a 6 in. lift kit at the end of the month and upon reading the reviews on some of them I am concerned about balancing these tires. My truck is used for towing my camper and race car trailer and for everyday transportation as well.
Is it that hard to keep this size tire balanced? Also I am looking for a recommendation as to what tire you would recommend that would look agressive but not too loud on the road and handle well towing.
Thanks mIke

It has been my experience that the bigger the tire, the worse it will balance. So it will depend on your tolerance for vibration more than anything. As for tires I have run the Toyo MT's & they are aggressive, look good, perform well in mud, & snow, & are not too bad to balance.

i have 37x13.5x20 toyos. they balance nice.

very first set of tires on the truck were pro comp extreme. they balanced ok.

second set were super swamper IROKs (39.5x13.5x20) and were TURDS to balance. square as a square

third set are the toyos. balance nice. i balance them every oil change though. probably why i have 35k miles on them and still have 45% wear left.

I hear that people have good luck with the ceramic balance beads. Never used any myself.

Thanks Guy's!! Are the Toyo's an all season or a Mud and Snow?
Any experience with the Cooper Discoverer STT TEK3? Are thoughts on Hankook or Nitto's?

Don't know about the STT TEK, but back when they were just STT, I didn't get very much wear out of them at all. I had a stock sized set that got a little over 20k on them. Pro Comp Xtreme ATs in that exact size have been the most well mannered large road tire I have had yet. but they are just that an offroad tire meant for WELL MANNERED ROAD Driving. performance in soft snow or mud is not that great. But they do well in sand, gravel, and rock. I will be getting another set when the time comes.

This is exactly what I am looking for!!! Maybe I should be looking at the Pro Comp xtreme AT's. Did you experience any problems with balancing those???
Thanks Mike

I have the 37x13.5x17 Toyo MT and they are SMOOTH. Wear well. Not much road noise.

Nice Tire

X2 on the Toto MT's. Have ran 37's and 35's and they have no issues getting balanced plus 45-47k on each set. Could have run more if the white stuff had not started falling.

Equal Tire Balance. It works great, I have in my close to standard size tires and no vibration at all. No weights on rim and no having to rebalance. We used it for years on aircraft and it worked great.

I didn't balance these myself, I got a deal on the set of tires and wheels from 4 wheel parts in San Diego that included mounting and balancing, so I let them do it, but it took about an hour, and these tires feel balanced up to 110 mph.
