Help!!! New tranny... vibration in park at 1900 RPMS?

Just found an issue I need an answer for. After my tranny upgrade they turned on the manual high idle. I tried it out and noticed a vibration while in park. I killed the manual high idle and pressed the go pedal. Right at 900 rpms I have a vibration. I don't think it is normal so I am asking. The guy that did the install had a class today in Atlanta. Need info if this is normal or do I have an install problem. No vibration at all while in Reverse or drive. I didn't try neutral.

Oh yeah, I tried to get ahold of Dave today, no luck. I waited to long in the day. Been very busy at work.

Why are you revving it to 1900 RPM's in park?

Sorry, I have been out dealing with the horses and still am. I will call him tomorrow. Not his fault. I should of done it myself. That's why I was a mechanic a few years ago. I am picky.... If you want it done right do it yourself....LOL I went against the grain and it has reminded me of such .... No big deal....

I will pull the inspection cover tonight and see if I can catch any wobbling of the flexplate or converter. If nothing, tranny has to come out.

I did get ahold of Dave tonight. Pulled the inspection cover and converter was doing the funky chicken. Pulled all the TC bolts and the converter moved backwards on it's own. Spun it a half a turn, slid it foward to make contact with the flexplate, installed all 6 bolts finger tight, and then tighten them down. Problem solved. It's the silly stuff that gets folks.

Oh yeah, I made a typo on the first post. Vibration was at 900 RPM not 1900.

Did you put lock-tight on the flexplate bolts?

All I had was red loctite. Didn't want to loctite them unitl I knew the problem was corrected. I'll keep an ear out for them and will do it later if necessary.

Wasn't seated right, hence the funky chicken dance of the converter/flexplate. Not bad but noticeable.
