help me get my truck in the mid 13's

with the basic i guess mods ive done in my sig so far, i still would like to get my truck built to reach the mid 13's easily.

My next upgrade will be TC, VB, billet input shaft and flexplate.

what else do i need? if this is better low to mid 13 truck is what im wanting. Will i need a new turbo do you think?

Ge your Edge hot unlocked and stack it with a pressure box. With your tranny mods you will be there on a stock turbo. It may be toasty but shouldnt be too bad.

you may need more air because that fueling will get egts hot and you may not be able to stay on the throttle without 1600 creeping up. thats what i noticed with my 05'.

like matego said you will get there once you add a pressure box and unlock the edge... your trannys hould hold- you are probably better off buying a built tranny. by the time you add everything up you probably should just go with a built unit. thats what i ended up doing. your turbo should be alright- but your egts will get pretty dang high. down the line you will ev entually want to consider a larger tubro.

Tranny is the biggest part missing!

Unlock the hot and get a EZ stacked and you should be right there.

with the Edge on HOT unlock and stacked with the EZ what will my EGT's be pushing? with ats manifold and intake cool it down much?

What if i just ditched the edge juice, and got the Smarty? I like the idea of running one programmer.

SMARTY TNT, built trans and AD150 put me in the high 13's. 90hp DDP's put me at 13.45, and new turbo put me at ???? soon to find out. But for getting into 13's cheap, I would say trans, fuel system and TNT!!!

Doh yeah dont forget the lift pump!

Go full on the tranny if your looking to race as you will continue to upgrade no matter what you think now.

You need a pressure box if egt's get on the high side you can always add a small Nitrous shot cheap HP and helps with the EGT's like a 50 hp kit.

A stock turbo will live maybe as long as a 1/4 mile with TNT spining it.

I agree, the TNT is too much for my SPS62. I have the wastegate set to 45 and it will continue to climb to the mid 50's with the wastegate fully open

When I had my Hot Juice/MP-8 with the stock turbo I was 13.8's with a stick and kept the EGT's 13-1400. With a built auto I dont see where mid 13's would be a problem at all. Are you really going to be happy with 13's? Probably not so if you are considering a Smarty you might as well get one.

well i just thought 13's since im only 22 and in college and have to TRY to keep it reasonable.

Main thing i said 13's was its like a competition between me and my buddies who one has a 06 F350 6.0 with SCT and hes in the High 13 to 14 flat range from that and my buddy with the dmax is in the same area, so i wanna beat there asses!

Who's egt gauge...

Read any of my 04.5 storys? Trust but verify.

IMHO I would have questioned 1400 mx on a MP-8 Hot Juice combo. I have a short block to bet on it!
