I purchased a Quadzilla Race box and commander off a fellow forum member about a week ago, and I am just now doing the install. I've connected the Map Sensor and the Fuel Rail Sensor, but am having a problem with the Data Link connector.

I have located the Data Link on my truck and have pulled off the dummy plug. Here is my problem. The Quadzilla harness that I received from the forum member does not have a plug that corresponds to the stock Data Link. Instead, the Quad harness has a purple wire with a connector that seems to correspond to a wire tap. I'm guessing this was done by the previous owner, so I need to know which wire I'm supposed to tap into in order to get this data link information to the Quad box?

That purple wire should be for the TPS. You need to tap the wire on top of the pedal inside the cab. I forget which one though. I can't seem to find the PDF on Quad's site though...

 

I'll just give them a call in the morning and get it straightened out for sure.

 

Yup, we will probably want to get it back and reflash it to the latest code for you.

call quad, send it in, they'll reflash it, and you'll have it back, less than a week. the pink tps wire is for the older flash of the race models, not needed anymore. mine has it, but new flash, so the wire is just rolled up under the dash.
