Help identifying a noise

OK guys. today I installed my Quadzilla Commander with the fuel pressure settings.
I then took the truck out with the smarty on #5 and hammered it pretty good looking for baseline #'s.
Later this evening I took the truck out to dinner and nw i hear a ticking that almost sounds like an exhaust leak. I rechecked the Pyro tap and it looks good.
the noise is coming from the drivers side which is away from the Pyro and the exhaust.
I put the Smarty on #4 with no change (thiniking maybe I was hearing injector timing) Wild guess.
Anyways now after reading I'm wondering if the noise is the fuel pressure sending unit???? Ii did poke around with the truck running and the stainless line attached to the block running from the housing to the pump is hammering pretty good. Not sure if this is normal for the cummins though. thinking about removing the fuel sending unit to see if it helps.
Any other Ideas Ideas where to look? Is there any type of exhaust noise I should be getting from the drivers side?
thanks in advance.

Maybe valve rattle. Does it do it when returned to stock?

What Smarty are you runnin? It's not the beta that adds pressure is it? That probably wouldn't bee good if your Quad box is adding pressure. I notice your sig says you still need gauges. You're stacking fueling mods without gauges? Hope the noise isn't a cracked injector.

Sig needs updated. I am running the quadzilla Commander monitor (just the monitor) Not stacking fuel........and the regular Smarty (not Beta). The Smarty was on #5 and I swapped it back to #4 so it is without the timing.
One thing I forgot to mention is when running (light throttle or coasting) it is loud but give it some fuel and the noise seems to go away. Which is funny since I can hear it again at idle. (outside and under the hood)
As to the guages portion I was hammering it pretty good looking for baseline #'s
I checked the data log and found 37PSI boost. Max EGTs of 1439 Fuel dropped to 2PSI at some point even though I only saw it get down to 6PSI Rail prerssure was 21+-K to 23+-K.
Coule the noise be the pump? Going to try some other stuff after work but I am supposed to take it to the dealer tonight to have the front end checked. Got slight case of DW. May get them to take a look at it.
How much Boost is to much and one short run at that low of PSI shouldnt cause an injector to fail would it?
I keep going back to looking at what was last changed and it was to add guages, is could I have cracked a fitting or somethig to cause this noise?
