Help with HID's
Help with HID's
I purchased a set of bi-xenon HID's from xtralights. Great kit but i'm having some problems. its a plug and play installation, H13 kit for the 2006. with the truck not running the lights both come on, but as soon as the truck is started the lights go out. doesn't matter if its on high or low beams. No lamp out light has come on in the cab. Not sure what to do from here. I ordered a relay harness to possibly solve the problem. If anyone has an idea would be great cause i'm at a loss right now. Called the company but the person i talked to wasn't sure as to a solution.
. any help would be great.

I maybe inccorect, but i believe there is a resistor that needs to be inline with the factor light switch. The headlights are run off a control module and no longer a relay. what that means is it requires a certain load so the headlights will stay on. It is strange you are not getting a lamp out light...maybe the lamp out light, light, is out? read that twice. If there is no load the lights come on, say forget that, and shut off. to much load and they shut off to protect from a short. Do a search on here, or head over to dodge talk. there is lots of info on this over there.
