This poll NEEDS to be totally public, have a I have had NONE fail box. It also needs to include build dates, even if only by the month, that way people who might be worried about their injectors can see if they have even a more valid concern. To make it even more of a good source of info, it also needs to ask questions regarding mods. So, trucks with stock, gentle mods like air filter and ME pipes, then other mods. I would certianly serve ALL of us to be able to see the basics PLUS the risks when looking at mods.

I know I would like to be able to get a better grip on all of the WHATS associated to the problems with the injectors. If it is a bunch/series of bad injectors, then it would serve to help those who may have them in getting things taken care of properly via their warranties. Let's face it - DC probably knows who really needs the upgrades and is betting on the fact that many have no clue. If in fact the clue can be drawn out of the poll, then many might start pressing DC to do what's right and recall them.

Just a few thoughts about really good information. Right now I cannot see the poll because there is nothing there for me to select. CD

Opposite the "Vote Now" button is a "View Poll Results" button.

It's still hard to get any real evidence from a poll like this. Contaminated fuel along with very high pressures could be the main cause...who knows?

Had an injector fail and messed up my cylinder and head and well a bunch of stuff. so to make a long story short, dealer said bad fuel, fuel station said it wasn't, I had it towed from the dealer and taken to a diesel shop and they said it was most probably the injector and the dealer had thrown all the injectors in a box and dinged up the tips. so yeah had to rebuild my engine and replace all injectors. dodge or fuel station didn't pay for any of it. truck is a 04 CTD all factory.

I have a few bad injectors, but I just dump in some fuel treatment, or a bottle of trans oil and keep rolling.

Of the people that have had one fail - stock or aftermarket - how many have run or were running a pressure box?

Hey I just noticed when changing my filter in the stock housing that when drained there was quite a bit of both moisture and fuel and debris still in the bottom of the housing and it made me wonder that if all the liquid and crap doesnt come out completly and you roll or get drug into the dealer for inj failure do the just pull the filter look in and make a determination or do they actually test the fuel not changing my filter for a while but to those who change frequently will you or have you looked into the bottom and if so is consistantly filled with junk would really like to know

Mine always has some sediment/crud at the bottom too. I've been told it's normal.
