Ditto here. I ask for a USPS money order and half the time ship before payment is received. I shipped four rims with mounted tires from San Diego to CT last year and it worked out great. Spoke to the guy extensively over the phone and had a good feeling. $900 sale and it went well. Both parties happy. I hate supplying financial records to anybody with all this hacking going on.

 

I hate getting USPS money orders, it's usually a deal breaker for me unless it's an item I must have and there is no other source. It usually takes 10-20 minutes in line to get one, and dealing with the tards at the post office sucks. (not to mention it's illegal to carry a gun in the post office). I can go to my bank or the nearest grocery store and draw a money order in 2-3 minutes. I get the same zero protection either way. The only times I've gotten screwed were using money orders.

Although they are anti gun, I prefer paypal over the money order. Something that always irritates me when someone asks for 5% additional to pay the 3% fees I don't mind paying the actual fee, although I never ask for it on my for sale stuff. One thing about the "gift" feature is that you lose any protections.

 

I've used money orders and paypal. Only been ripped off twice, but it was for a total of about $50.00.

The most I spent was $300.00. I sent the seller the money order, and he sent me the part.
