Has anyone had any experience with ProComp Tire?

I have been eyeing the Extreme A/T's. Anyone have any knowledge of these tires? Thanks for any help. http://www.procomptire.com/xtremeallterrain.html

I can't speak of the Extreme AT, but I've had Procomp MTs and ATs, both are great tires, but Toyos have lasted a little longer and look much better. Toyos are a little $$$ though. Locally, I don't know anyone who's had good luck w/ BFGs, personally I hate them, but some like them.

I've got a set of 35" pro comp extreme at's on my current truck and so far 7000 miles and hardly any wear at all. they are a load range d unfortunatly but i really don't haul much. they balanced out nice except for one which took like 7 oz's. always one bad in the bunch no matter what. but for the most part i'm happy with them. handle good and are very quite. heard good things that these tires wear like iron.

I have not liked ANY of the Procrap products I have owned. They are owned by 4WPW, so they tend to sell Procomp pretty hard. I think it is a generic product w/fancy stickers & millions of $$$ in advertisement is the onlly way they keep it afloat. Just my .02!

I have a set of extream a/t's 37x13.50x20 I have 40 thousand miles on them. I took them of this fall and put some extream m/t's 305x65x17's for the winter they also seem to be wearing good. I probably will get another 10 to 15k out of the 37's. the extream a/t's ride awsome look some what agressive and not loud going down the road. I will definatly by another set when it is time..

I agree. I have never used Pro-Comp tires but have heard horror stories of guys that have. If you just HAD to have Pro-Comp tires, make sure you buy them locally. You dont want to start shipping tires back and forth when the tread starts separating from the case. There was a big lawsuit about that a while ago. I never did see what the outcome was. Time to Google!

I have put 30,000 miles on my 35x12.50/17 Extreme All Terrains. I drive a LOT of gravel and snow/ice up here in the North. They are a great tire for these conditions.

They should be rotated about every 10,000 miles to avoid front cupping. I rotated them on the weekend, and they are about 1/2 way to the wear bars, so ther is a lot in them yet.

I have tried Goodyears, Coopers, BFG, Kumho, and I would recommend Pro-Comps over all them.

My family and I have gone through 6 sets of pro comp tires and for the price with the buy 3 get 1 free you can't beat it. My last set of their mt's went 42k with lots of rotations, but they were a real bear to drive the last 6k or so. I believe cooper makes the pro comp tires. The coopers s/t I am running now seem to be a step above the pro comp mts I was running b4.

I have been running 33X12.50X17 ProComp MT's on my truck since new. Right now I have about 26k on the truck. Probably have about 10k left in them. I love the looks of the tire, they ride pretty good for a MT, and the noise is not that bad. I am going with the Extreme AT next time I think. I have read a lot of good things about them and they look really nice.

Justin do you have any pics of your truck with the 305/65/17s on your truck? Because if I go with the ProComps it's between those and the 35x12.50x17's

I have not had good experience with the BFG's either..But have heard so many people talk good about them that I thought about giving them another shot...but the price is still up there. And the ProComp tires have 3/32nds more tread than any of the other tires.

pro-comp tires are made by cooper, and there have been some reports of tread seperation with some of the tires manufactured by cooper, under their own name and others.
