H2 rims

Found H2 rims for $225 (set of 4) brand new. To good to be true? Is this a good price? I've seen some on ebay that start at $500 or so. This is just for the rims. I need to act fast. Thanks.

That seems like a great price. They are good wheels, I'll never go back to stock. Once you get them you'll be needing a fifth one.

OK, I got 'em. I hate buyin' crap off ebay, but I just couldn't pass that one up. The guy had 99.4% good feedback with around 2500 sales so I took the plunge. Now I just gotta get tires and find the threads about the machining instructions for the rims. Anybody know where the threads for the instructions are? Thanks guys.

You can have them machined or you can do it yourself with a hole saw if you are comfortable with handling a Hole Hog drill. I figured out how to do mine with a hole saw and it was fine. The hole is a little rough but clearance is all you need as the lugs center the wheel and support the weight. Just do a search. And start looking for the fifth one!

Yeah, I found some Nitto terra grappler AT's (295/70R17) for $712 delivered to my door. Now I gotta find a screamin' deal on mounting and balancing. Top Gun Customz leveling kit is about 80 bux shipped. Can't decide on shox, either Rancho RS 9000's or Bilsteins. I'd go either way, I guess it just depends on the better deal.

I payed about two hundred for my first set to get machined. Second set i made a jig and machined myself. took about four hours of prepp but they are perfect and no room for error. 225 for the rims by them selves is ok price. I am more familier with 4 to 500 for the rims and tires together. I have spare for sale in the classifieds and also chrome set of h2's for sale

Call your local hummer dealer for the tires. I bought a set of tires and wheels for $600 from one of the dealers. I already had a set of H2 wheels machined, so I sold the “new” wheels on eBay. In the end, tires, wheels, and machining cost me $560. Not bad for a 35” set of tires and wheels.

I already went to the Hummer dealer. They're charging $1300 for a set of takeoffs with tires. Are you kidding me? Ridiculous. I guess that's what you get when you live in south Orange County. Everything's a rip off down here.

My local hummer dealer wont even sell em as a set. They keep the tires for other trucks and sell the wheels cheap.

I have had mine for about 3 1/2 years now and I am not sure, but I believe I was the first guy to post about these wheels. I bought mine for $140 and the guy had 15 sets that he could not get rid of. He would of sold me all he had for that price. I have seen the prices continue to rise and I believe the price you have is great in todays market.
I machined the center and the large diameter on a machining center so the stock Dodge Center Cap fit. I nested the rims so each repeated right back on center and machined all four in 2 hours. I used a ball nose end mill on the large diameter, the bottom radius aids in maintaining the strength of the original wheel. The hole saw should also work because there is a good chamfer on the center hole to ensure concentricity. You will not be able to do the larger hole this way.
They look great and I have had tons of compliments. The nice part about the Hummer Wheels is that they are offset 1/2" greater than the stock rims, this allows the tires to clear the sway bars. They are 8" wide, just right for 315s.
