H2 Help??

I just picked up my truck and have a few questions. I just put on my H2 wheels and need to know a few things

1. What is the stock wheel backspacing??
2. Wil these wheels cause my wheels to stick out further than stock, or tuck in under the wheel well more???
3. What is the stock rim size vs. the h2 wheel size and specs???

The guy at 4 wheel parts was saying that my stock wheels have less backspacing than the H2's? Is this true? I was trying to have my wheels stick out a bit furter, but I dont know if they are or not?

I believe the H2's have 1" less backspacing than the stock wheels. And I think they are 1" wider than the stock wheels, and will stick out more than the stockers. I'm sure someone who know for sure will come along and correct me if I'm wrong.

So with 1" less backspacing alone, that should set my wheel out past my fenders further? Then plus they are .5" wider??

So my wheels should stick out 1.5" out further than stock?? I sure hope so!!

Oh and do you guy's think its EDIT to use the h2 wheel caps? I got a pair of chrome blank ones, and I put them on. They look good, but one of my buddies brought to my attention that I would look like a poser? I wasnt thinking of that, and dont want to look like a ***. The dodge caps just look a little boring, and Id rather leave them off or have them powder coated too?? Please help with all of this, Im sick to my stomach!

Yeah, that correct if the numbers I gave are accurate.

I'd measure my H2 rims for you but they are at my office. My tires should be here on Monday so I should have them on by Tuesday.

charcoal truck, and black wheels.

Ive got stock hub caps, or h2 blank caps that are chrome. Blank meaning they dont have any hummer emblem or name. I did put them on and they looked good, but I dont want to be like those guys with a civic, who have on merceds emblems. It just seems a hair gay, even if they look cooler.

Thats what happens when you're married with children...

You single guys take note...

Yeah, they'll stick out further. They should look just right.

charcoal truck, and black wheels
I'm the opposite, black truck and charcoal (well, more like a smoke, I guess) wheels.

I'm struggling with the cap issue also. The H2 caps I have are the crappy grey ones with Hummer stamped onto it. Right now I plan on using the factory chrome Dodge caps, but in case I don't like that I had a paint shop mix me a pint of matchng grey paint, which I could use to paint the caps, or even paint the hubs and leave the caps off. Until I get everything together and in front of me I won't know. I suggest you try what you have then go from there.

1. I believe it is 6"
2. They will stick out further. About 1".
3. The H2's have 5.5" of backspacing and are 8.5" wide whereas the stock wheels are 8" wide.

They H2 wheel is a nice fit they give the rig a nice stance even without a leveling kit I am runnin the 315 70 BFG AT. Problem with the hummer Caps is they are not goin to work on the real wheels. Go to a wrecker spend 30 bucks for 32 lug nuts and use your dodge caps. even if you have your wheels Black and use a Chrome cap it looks good I have seen them. I have a white truck and have the chrome H2s but was thinkin of getting another set for winter and having them powdercoated White never seen it any thoughts?
