Hey Guys,

To those of you that have mods on your '05 auto trans, what mods/brand did you go with, and how well does it work?

I'm mainly interested in what quality VB to get, and what other mods to do (other then converter) while in there?

Also, anyone sell good VBs for '05s that can ship them immediately?

i put a transgo kit in my valve body,a bilet input and a new 2nd drum with extra clutches.i am well pleased and it seems to hold a 500hp daily driver nicely

 

I have an order placed with Goerend brothers transmissions for one of their triple disc convertors, valve body, billet input, 1-2 shift lever and a billet ATS flexplate. Can't wait to get the power to the ground...

 

I second the vote for Goerand brothers.I had my tranny(VB,TQ and deep tranny pan)done a couple of weeks ago at goerend brothers shop in Iowa,they are super folks to deal with and have a great product IMHO.coobie

 

I go the first week in may to get the full dtt setup includeing the flexplate

 

ATS valve body, flexplate, convertor........ and lovin it. 3K installed. i dont know if thats a deal or not, but id pay it again.

 

The VB is really all you can do without pulling the trans. It will definitely help your shift quality out. I think every vender has then readily available but you will have to pay a big core deposit because they really want your old VB back.
