Guesstimate on HP

Ok,

From my run at the track last weekend and with this calculator.



I have just a touch over 455 HP...is this right?

Maybe... I dyno'd 446 then went out the next day and did 13.6 @ 96 (roughly)...

But I'm thinkin' I am little ahead of that now...

I noticed the biggest variable is the weight. I ASSUME my truck is right at 6500...

Should get a good baseline this weekend....going to try to do 4-6 runs and see what happens....need to hit the dyno soon also

i ran a 14.4 at 94 with crazy larry only. With u having a built trans u should be able to hit a 13.8 or so

I am hoping that I hit that...just need to get my boost launches better. My last 2 runs were less than 5psi....

Try leaving aroun 10 to 14 psi.

my truck hit the scale at 7330 with me in it to be at 6500 would have to be a RC?

I dont know how accurate that thing is.I put in my specs. and it said I had 674HP I wish it was true.

Believe it or not the calculators over on comp-d were extremely close to what my truck puts out.

That is flywheel HP - 15% for the trans... 572 RWHP is this close?

for me that is 386 RWHP

i have the goerend tranny, dynoed with the smarty s-04 and has my FASS- i put down right around 450hp/845tq on the 170 hp setting. so id say your are right around there.

It seems close for me but way off for you. I agree with others, you should be in the 450 range. I dyno'd my truck at 556 but I had the MP-8 cut back (last second jitters, someone else at the shootout nuked injectors a few runs before me) where at the strip I crank her up.

Were you running the TNT with the added pressure? It seems to me someone else here with the TNT and stock turbo was in the 480's.
